If your lawn has not been cored in the last two years or ever, and you are generally unsatisfied with its growth or appearance. Look for water pooling or bare patches that won’t seem to cover as signs your soil is compacted.

If your lawn is thick and spongy to walk on or is above the height of the driveway or paths it needs scarifying.

Coring is beneficial all year round however the ideal time for coring is late Winter to early Spring. Coring prior to Winter allows rain to to penetrate your lawn and aids drainage.

Ideal time for scarifying is late Winter to early Spring, but all of the warmer months are suitable. Light scarification in Winter invigorates your lawn and promotes growth.

Ideally lawns should be fertilised four times per year at the start of each season. We use four very different types of fertilisers designed to optimize the health and appearance of your lawn through the varying conditions of each Australian season.
